Grzegorz Stec
Artist's galleryPainter, graphic artist, poet. Born 1955 in Krakow, in 1981, graduated from the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts. In 1996-2002 he was a resident of The Society for Arts in Chicago. In the "1112 Gallery", The Society for Arts, were held three of his exhibition: Letters to the Mastres (1996), Exodus or Carnival? (1997), and Aqueducts of Dream (1998). In the years 2008 - 2009 he exhibited in New York, a large exhibition of his paintings took place at the Consulate General of the Polish Republic (2008), Kurier Plus Gallery (2008) and the Kosciuszko Foundation (2009). Grzegorz Stec lent their images on the covers of books, CDs and posters, including for VI Easter Festival of Ludwig van Beethoven (Cracow, 2002). About the artist TVP made the movie torments me smell Black (1991, dir. Cezary Nowicki). Grzegorz Stec is also a poet (he debuted in writing "Student" in 1974.), Published two volumes of poetry: Nobody here looking for answers, Cracow 1999 and Melencolia, Kraków 2007.
